June is Adopt a Cat Month, making it the perfect time to open your home to a feline companion.
If you’ve been considering cat adoption, TEARS Animal Rescue in Fish Hoek is encouraging animal lovers to visit its cattery and meet some of the cats and kittens currently looking for loving homes.
Cats are often known for choosing their humans rather than the other way around. A visit to TEARS might be all it takes for the right cat to find you.
Every cat and kitten at TEARS has overcome a difficult start in life. Many have been rescued from neglect, abuse, abandonment or life on the streets. What they need now is a safe home, a comfortable place to rest and a family to call their own.
The timing is especially fitting, with Cat World Domination Day also taking place on 24 June. It’s a light-hearted reminder that cats have always known their worth and perhaps why people often joke that dogs have owners while cats have staff.
The adoption fee is R1,200 and includes everything needed to help your new family member settle into their forever home.
Please note that TEARS adoptions are available within the Western Cape only.
